Robin Baker has been Director of Ravensbourne for 10 years. Under his direction the College has become focused on the use of digital technologies in the creative industries. Robin has lectured and been a keynote speaker on this subject and on the relationship between design and computing technology at many seminars. His book 'Designing the Future: The Computer Transformation of Reality' - explored the impact of computing on the design industries. Prior to joining Ravensbourne, Robin was a consultant to the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council on the Public Understanding of Science; the National Trust on a strategy for multimedia; the Design Council on a computer strategy; Arthur Young, Comshare Ltd and Quick Europe on Computer Interface Design and Human Factors.
