Roles & Responsibilities
Role of GuildHE Head of Institution Members
Members are asked where possible to represent GuildHE on committees, governing boards and organisational working groups and to be present at meetings to speak on behalf of GuildHE members. Members are invited to GuildHE Council meetings and events and receive all major updates and communications. Members are expected to share experience and institution data based on GuildHE research requirements, and to contribute to consultations and GuildHE policy development.
Role of Senior Staff in GuildHE institutions
Senior staff are appointed by Heads of Institution to be members of GuildHE Networks, and are invited to represent GuildHE on committees and other groups.
Role of Chairs of Board in GuildHE institutions
Chairs and Clerks are invited to represent GuildHE on committees and to be part of the GuildHE Practical Governance Network.
GuildHE Office Support
Providing operational support to the running of GuildHE. The Office facilitates GuildHE meetings, networks and events, co-ordinates responses to Government Consultations, delivers GuildHE publications and acts as a hub for GuildHE communications by writing and circulating press and media releases, members mailings and other comms activity. GuildHE Office members attend meetings and lobby groups, speaking on behalf of GuildHE and its members. In addition, the Office provides project support for GuildHE research projects. Provision of London based meeting rooms and facilities and a GuildHE online Members Area.
